Why You should come to BHCC!

Wow---there sure has been a lot of bad news for our country and the world in the past few weeks.  It's hard to watch the news and it's hard not to watch it to stay informed with what's happening.

There is so much uncertainty hoovering over our heads.  What will we do?  Where will we turn if things continue to get even tougher?

I am praying that this is a time that God will bring much good from all the yuk.  I am praying that this will encourage people to turn to the Lord for help and comfort.

We can not put our faith in presidents or political parties.  We can only put our faith in the Good Shepherd (Read Psalm 23) for such a time as this!  God will show us the way to find peace of mind and heart.

Tomorow begins our BHCC Fall Open House and I'm praying that many people in our community will accept our invitation to come and hear some GOOD NEWS for a change.  The Good News is that God cares greatly about our present and future.

The good news is that He has a plan to help & guide us through the worst storms in life.  The good news is that He doesn't care about how imperfect we've been in the past or are now.  He wants a relationship with us and it has everything to do with our beginning to go back to His church and humble ourselves in His presence.

He cares about our financial problems but what He cares most about is where we will spend our eternity.

I am praying that many people will get the mailer invitation we sent out and will know that it is a sign to them that God truly cares about them and so do His people at Blessed Hope Community Church! This church IS changing lives for better and forever!

No perfect people are allowed in this church!  :-) At BHCC, none of us have 'arrived,' we're all still a work in progress and we see faith as a journey, not a destination. We don't care about what anyone has done or not done in the past.  We just want people to discover what we've discovered---God does truly love us and He wants to bless us beyond our imaginations.

He'll take a thousand steps towards us but He wants us to take at least one step towards Him.  Going to His house (His church) is a wonderful step to take towards Him! You'll be blessed friends!

We don't worship movies.  We're just a young church that can't yet afford our own building, so why not meet at a movie theater??? It's not about the building, it's about the people being with God.

We like quality, contemporary music and straight talking messages that speak truth to our lives.  And yeah, we like movies.  We have slides and movie clips during our service.  How cool is that?

We're not like your parents church and we are definitely not a cult of any kind!  We're just a community church that is real and sincere about following Jesus.

We're not weird, we're a non-denominational community church--plain and simple.  We're evangelical with much focus on grace!  We all need it.  We believe in letting people move at their own pace and we will never pressure people in any way, shape or form.

We're a very diverse group of people in every possible way.  We like each other and we have a lot of fun together.

You don't need a ticket to come in the theater.  Just walk in the front door and walk straight to the back of the theater where you'll easily find us in theater number 11.  Stop and grab a cup of FREE Dunkin Donuts coffee on our refreshment table, pick up a FREE donut, grab some FREE popcorn if you want and take it right to your seat. The movie theater is totally cool with it.

We're a very friendly church and there are no clicks in this church.  There are lots of new people so you'll fit right in!

Kids can stay in the service the whole time if they want, or you can take them to the Kid's time right before the sermon.  Whatever you're comfortable with is okay with us.  We'll have free balloons for them and prizes for the adults.

The service lasts about an hour and 10 minutes---give or take a few.  You'll LOVE it.  Most people do!  There'll be lots of new people tomorrow and for the rest of the month!

Hope I get to personally meet you tomorrow or soon! Join ur enews and tell your friends to come too!

Blessings,
Pastor Lin :-)
