This coming Sunday, Feb. 9th from 3-6:00 pm at our Mosaic Campus, BHCC is offering our 101-401 C.L.A.S.S.es.
C.L.A.S.S. stands for Christian Life And Service Seminar. These classes are being offered for your benefit - to help you to be intentional, faithful and obedient to God in growing your faith and closeness to Him.
Every C.L.A.S.S. is based on scripture and filled with scriptures! All four C.L.A.S.S.'s are taught simutaniously by different teachers. We encourage you to sign up for at least one C.L.A.S.S.!
Each C.L.A.S.S.is based on helping you to fulfill one of the five God-given purposes in your life!
CLASS 101 is the basic introduction to our church family designed to clearly explain the who and what of our church.
The 101 CLASS covers topics such as: Our Salvation, Our Statements, Our Strategy and Our Structure and is taught by Pastor Linda Wurzbacher. This is a great opportunity to learn about Blessed Hope CC, get to know others, and to grow in your faith as well.
You don’t have to become a member to attend it – it’s just for your information. We’ll explain what we believe, how we operate, and what our church is all about. We’ll answer your questions, share information on our church’s future plans, and how you may become a member.
Why should I consider becoming a member of a local church?
Every Christian should join a church because Scripture requires it. Granted, there is no direct command in Scripture that says, “Every Christian must join a local church,” but two factors in Scripture indicate that every Christian should be a member of a local church.
- Jesus established the church to be a public, earthly institution that would mark out, affirm, and oversee those who profess to believe in him (Matt. 16:18-19, 18:15-20). Jesus established the church to publicly declare those who belong to him in order to give the world a display of the good news about himself (John 17:21, 23; see also Eph. 3:10). Jesus wants the world to know who belongs to him and who doesn’t. And how is the world to know who belongs to him and who doesn’t? They are to see which people publicly identify themselves with his people in the visible, public institution he established for this very purpose. They’re to look at the members of his church. And if some people claim to be part of the universal church even though they belong to no local church, they reject Jesus’ plan for them and his church. Jesus intends for his people to be marked out as a visible, public group, which means joining together in local churches.
- Scripture repeatedly commands Christians to submit to their leaders (Heb. 13:17; 1 Thess. 5:12-13). The only way to do that is by publicly committing to be members of their flock, and saying in effect, “I commit to listening to your teaching, following your direction, and to submitting to your leadership.” There’s no way to obey the scriptural commands to submit to your leaders if you never actually submit to them by joining a local church.

CLASS 201 is called Introduction to Spiritual Maturity
It's a very important CLASS because it tells you how you can Grow in spiritual maturity & in deepening your relationship with Christ! It covers essential fundamentals needed to make your faith stronger and improve your day to day life expodentially! If you've taken 101 but you haven't taken this CLASS - Please, do yourself a favor and sign up now by replying to this email!
CLASS 301 is called Discovering my S.H.A.P.E. for Ministy!
If you're a Christian, then you've been given one or more (supernatural) spiritual gift(s).Do you know what your gift(s) is? Then you need to take this CLASS! You will need to let us know ASAP because we need to give you a spiritual gifts test to take before you come to the CLASS> This 301 CLASS is a great resource for you to use to discover how God has shaped you to serve Him! This is a fun and interesting CLASS to help you discover God's purpose for your life!
CLASS 401 is called Discovering My Life’s Mission!
This is also a very important CLASS that is meant to help you discover and develop how you can share your faith with others? Do you know how to give someone your testimony? You need to learn and need to be sharing your God story in order to be in obedience with God's will and mission for your life. Got questions about this? Come to the CLASS 401 and ask away! Pastor John will be leading this CLASS so sign up TODAY!

We're hoping we'll still have our Daniel Plan TONIGHT at the Mosaic Cafe from 7-8:30 pm as the snow is supposed to stop - but we'll wait ans see how the roads are!
