Want to stay 'in the loop?'  Want to make SURE you're not missing anything at BHCC?  Then SIGN UP for our BHCC E-News HERE!

Here is the ENEWS I just sent out:

am very excited about this Sunday's worship service.....Mother's Day is one of my very favorite worship services all year!

We have some special gifts to give away this Sunday for every woman in honor of Mom's everywhere.  Even if you're not a Mom, we want to give you a gift in honor of your Mom or in honor of someone who has been LIKE A MOM to you!

We also have a very special song that our 'gals' will be doing during the service.  All the women are invited to participate!  If you can come to the Mosaic Campus THIS Thursday night at 8:30pm to practice the song, that would be very awesome!  If you have more questions on this, please send them to info@blessedhopecc.org.

This is a perfect time for you to invite your family  and friends to come to BHCC!  Last week, one Mom informed me that she had told her kids that the ONLY thing she wants for Mother's Day is for them to come to church with her.  I LOVE IT!  What a great thing Mom is teaching them still!

I NEED YOUR HELP on something else for the service as well.  During our 'special' song this Sunday, we are going to be showing "MOM' pictures on the BIG screen.  LADIES: Please EMAIL us a picture of either you and your Mom, or you and your kids! GUYS: Please EMAIL us a picture of you and your Mom! The pictures could be of anyone who has been LIKE a Mom to you as well.  Please send them ASAP to info@Blessedhopecc.org. !!!

TONIGHT is our wednesday Bible study at the Mosaic Cafe from 7-8:30pm.  Only 2 weeks left of this study so don't MISS OUT!  Everyone is invited to come and join in on the learning, fun and fellowship!

I want to say a special thank you to all of you who have continued to support Blessed Hope CC through the giving of your time, your prayers and your tithes!  I know so many people at BHCC who are giving sacrificially and I know God continues to bless you and take care of all your needs because you are putting Him first!

For those of you who haven't yet discovered the JOY of giving generously to God, I encourage you to pray about it and to ask God to take the fear out of giving!  Tithing is truly an act of FAITH!

But as the scriptures say,

2 Corinthians 9:7
"You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”

If you're supporting this church financially, THANK YOU in Jesus' name. And let me just share just a few things that YOU are helping to provide with your giving:

1. Children at BHCC receive their own bibles.
2. Kid's Curriculum teaching them how to know God & learn the bible.
3. Missionary's taking the Gospel overseas
4. Food for hungry people in need in our community.
5. Bible study material and resources to help people know God.
6. A space for people everywhere to come worship and study the bible!
7. Equipment and resources for our worship team, our pastors, our church leaders to use to share Christ with others.
8. Signs to point people to God! :-)
9.) Pastor's resource material to study, to draw from for teaching and leading the flock of Christ.
10.) Computers, copy machines, phones, websites, all communication equipment to use to spread the Good News of Christ to bring GLORY to our Lord and Savior!

This is a small list, but this church is only here because of all of you who continue to support and contribute to it in Jesus' name! I PRAISE God for all you are doing for His Kingdom!

Trust me, I don't want your money! :-) The church doesn't want your money.  God doesn't want your money! But God does want to teach all of us to give back to Him a portion of what He has given us.... to support His work in the world! (All we have is from Him!)

I will end with a few more scriptures on giving.  Again, I pray that no one ever gives to this church out of guilt or reluctance or pressure!  No one will EVER feel pressured to give! NO, my prayer is for people to discover the joy of giving as my husband and I have, and for God to make each one of us cheerful GIVERS!

Deuteronomy 15:10
Give generously to him and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.

…the righteous gives and does not hold back.

Matthew 6:3-4
But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

Mark 12:41-44
And He sat down opposite the treasury, and began observing how the people were putting money into the treasury; and many rich people were putting in large sums. A poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which amount to a cent. Calling His disciples to Him, He said to them, “Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the contributors to the treasury; for they all put in out of their surplus, but she, out of her poverty, put in all she owned, all she had to live on.”

Luke 3:11
And he would answer and say to them, “The man who has two tunics is to share with him who has none; and he who has food is to do likewise.”

2 Corinthians 9:6-8
Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.

2 Corinthians 9:10
Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness;

Philippians 4:15-17
And you yourselves also know, Philippians, that at the first preaching of the gospel, after I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you alone; for even in Thessalonica you send a gift more than once for my needs. Not that I seek the gift itself, but I seek for the profit which increases to your account.

James 2:15-16
If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that?
