Having some REVELATIONS!

By Pastor Lin on 6/9/2009

I love how Jesus continues to teach us and grow us!  I never want to stop growing and evolving from the person I once was to becoming the person God is transforming me into by His amazing grace.

God has been teaching me SO MUCH about the amazing power of kindness lately!  The result is my heart feels more joy-filled than it has in a very long time.

Maybe because focusing on the kindness of God takes our focus off of ourselves and others and puts it exactly where it should be, on the MIGHTY HANDS OF GOD.

God is doing so many amazing things through and at Blessed Hope CC lately and it has EVERYTHING to do with the power of Kindness!

Here's just a few:

We took 31 women to the Women of Faith Conference over the weekend and God used this experience to do amazing things.  Several women surrendered their lives to Christ!  Many more were deeply impacted and incredibly blessed!  We laughed, we cried, we hugged, and we realized that we're all apart of something so much bigger than ourselves!  Check out the picture!

God is also moving in big ways in our pre-teen group KWAM!  The kids are learning so much about God , and they are having an absolute blast doing it! The kids are the ones dragging their parents to church!  How awesome is that!  This group is growing and the kids continue to bring their friends.  I was so blessed last night as we all held hands and I heard the kids praying for one another!  Wow....God is showing up in huge ways!

Just in the past month, we've had 3 new families coming to BHCC.  All of them are very excited to be there & we are blessed to welcome them HOME!

Our new and improved Mosaic Cafe looks AWESOME!  Now we just have to figure out what new thang God has planned for this space!

We are planning a baptism / picnic at our house in July and already people are coming forward and saying they want to be baptized!  Halleluiah!  Praying for the biggest baptism at BHCC EVER!

We've started a whole new serving team at BHCC....still working on the name but some have suggested we call it the "Chicken Soup Ministry."  We have a large team of people willing to take meals to those in need of some extra love & care.  We recently had a few ladies have surgery and have incredibly blessed by this awesome act of kindness!  I am so proud of this church!

God is moving in amazing ways at BHCC and I feel so blessed to be a part of something so exciting!  We have a very special surprise for people at our Sunday service this week!  I can't WAIT!!!

Praising God for the awesome God He is! God, YOU REIGN!!!
