How Much does a miracle cost?
That was the title of a short movie we watched in worship yesterday.
That was also the question I asked during my sermon yesterday.
How much would we pay so that someone else could experience a 'miracle.'
Miracles happen when people give in faith to God.
Through the tithes and offerings that are given to the church, we are able to partner with God and make miracles happen for others.
God is incredibly GENEROUS to us all the time.
2 Corinthians 8:9
You know the generous grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty he could make you rich.
We’ve all been made rich by the generosity of our Lord Jesus Christ. He became poor so we could become rich in spirit.
He gave everything He had to us at a great cost to Himself; and everyone, regardless of what they deserve, is invited to partake of what He has for all eternity.
God is so generous to us that He gives us the freedom to decide what our response to Him will be. Will we be generous or stingy in our giving back to Him & His church? Everything we have has been ultimately given to us from Him. Every breath we take is a gift from Him. What will our response to Him be? Generous or stingy?
How much does a miracle cost?
Jesus paid for our miracle with His Body and Blood. He paid with his life. What will we give in order to help others to know the same truth we have come to know. Generous or stingy in what you give to God?
