With most sermons, there's just not enough time to pack everything in.  Sometimes, great content gets edited.  Here is a great story that didn't make the final sermon last Sunday.  Here is some background:

Whatever we do for God, it's going to take faith.  If we think we can easily accomplish it... it might not be what God's calling you to.  But if it's so big, that without God, it would be destined to fail, then you're probably on the right track.

"I had an idea for a ministry once so I went to this guy who had a lot of experience with similar ministries. I told him my idea and he too thought it was a great idea but said it was going to cost $10,000 to pull it off. This is a true story. He pulled out a piece of paper and quickly put together a budget and showed me exactly what everything was going to cost.

I left there feeling frustrated because I knew I couldn’t come up with $10,000 to start this ministry but I also knew that God wanted this to happen. So I had faith and went forward. Well God did a miracle herd and a miracle there and we ended up pulling this off with less than $50 that we had collected from donations."
