Today wasn't perfect, but it was great.  We started the morning off with a very frustrating issue.  Our monitor amp got switched to mono!  I know for you non-musicians, this may not sound like a big deal.  It wouldn't have been a big deal if we knew that was the problem.  Our sound engineers were pulling their hair out because they couldn't control the monitors independently of one another.  I thought they just had too much coffee.

But thanks be to God that church is so much more than a service.  It's about the people!  And we have some great people!

I really felt the Holy Spirit this morning during worship--even during practice.  God has been teaching me a lot through the leadership summit conference we attended Thursday and Friday.  He's teaching me a lot about worship, leadership, and who I need to be.

We had a great message, great worship, and a child dedication to top it all off.  It wasn't perfect, but it was great.
