Got JOY???

I don't know if I've ever been as excited about Christmas as I am this year.

Yes, having a brand new granddaughter definitely has something to do with it. :-)

But it's even more than that.

Yes, it's exciting to see how BHCC continues to grow and produce fruit.

But it's still more than that.

Yes, I absolutely love doing our current Christmas series, but it's more than that!

Yes, I am REALLY excited about having our Christmas Eve service in the movie theater this year for the first time, but it's still more than that!!!

The bottom line is, more than all these wonderful, incredible things, I am truly MOST excited and happy beyond belief about Jesus Christ!!!

After all these years of knowing Him, my joy has not subsided, only INCREASED!!!

He still absolutely amazes me! No words can describe how wonderful He is! Nothing on earth compares to Him!

And when I think about how great His love is for us, I am again, AMAZED!

I thank God that I get to be His servant. I get frustrated at times because I feel / know that what I spend full time doing probably amounts to less than only a small drop in the ocean. I want to bring Him soo much more. I want so much for more people to experience the joy and peace that I have come to know in Him. My life is such a testimony to Him and yet I fear few people get that about me.  About how I once was so lost, depressed and miserable and how Christ found me and turned everything around! And now the joy I get to experience is beyond anything I could have ever imagined!

Nehemiah 8:10
" . . . . for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” 

Luke 2:10
" . . . the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people."

Got Joy for this Christmas?

Just believe and invite Him into your heart and make room for Him in your life! You too will experience this incredible joy and peace beyond anything you can possibly imagine! He's real.  If you're missing joy, it's because you're missing HIM! He's waiting for you to invite Him into your heart and life!

I am praying the same prayer that Paul prayed for the Ephesians for you this Christmas:

Ephesians 3:14-21 NIV
For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

And AMEN!!!
